India Students Association

I was the Treasurer of the India Student Association (ISA)at the OSU during 2005-2006 and it was really fun being a part of ISA. It gave me chance of meeting people from different cultures. ISA is an affiliate of Int'l Students of OSU (ISOSU) and therefore when participating and volunteering for all different cultural nights of all affiliates, one gets to know about numerous cultures and coutries around the world!
The ISA presents a huge cultural event (1200 audience) of its own called "India Night" and this year we did a great job in making people aware of real, contemporary India along with its age-old traditions. I'm proud to say that I had a very significant part to play in this effort. We displayed 9 posters and showed 4 videos about different aspects of the diverse land that is INDIA!!!

I also had a significant contribution to the small exhibition ISA had put up a on India's Republic Day (January 26th) informing people in the OSU community about India's Constitution and its Parliamentary setup.
